Who we are

Natural Fit Hove is a fresh innovation in fitness and well-being, through Gym, Classes, Spa, Cafe and Work space. Located a short distance walk North of Hove Station, on the edge of Hove Park, Natural Fit is a combination internally of great architecture and blissful ambience. Built inside a lovely old church, this is a space filled with bespoke gym equipment, beautiful spa facilities and a health-inspired Café; think of it as a Country Club by the coast. 

We have an exercise ethos based around re-awakening everyday functional movement in a guided environment, whether through members’ classes or guided exercise on the Gym floor. We seek to re-align the body’s natural sequence, helping our members move fully, with freedom and flow, from adult life through to later years. The Spa, Café and Lounges provide space to relax, re-invigorate and meet with friends.

The Opportunity

Do you have a working background in Sports, Fitness or Leisure? A working background in Hospitality and Catering, or is your background mainly in the Spa and Wellness Industry? Maybe you’re an experienced Spa Therapist?

We want you to join our team of like-minded professionals who have skill sets, qualifications and/or experience in one or more of our Club areas: Gym, Classes, Spa and Cafe. We will fully support your progressive journey through Natural Fit, providing you with all the required training and expertise, and in time you and the whole team will be multi-skilled, working collaboratively and offering the very best to our members.

For this role, you will have a keen interest in people; a natural connector. An interest and passion for health, wellness, nutrition and fitness. You will provide a caring and attentive level of service for our members, under the supervision of the Team Manager. You will be the face of Natural Fit and the heartbeat of our ethos.

Being part of the team your role will be wide and varied, representing the company’s core beliefs and values. All team members are required to have an attention to detail, the desire to learn, an ability to strike up a conversation with confidence and care. The ability to work very well in a team environment, and display superb communication skills, whilst taking instructions from senior executives. This is an ideal position for a smart, motivated individual who has a huge passion for excellence, and a high regard for working in a collaborative environment. You’ll look to master your core responsibilities while taking on new projects that move Natural Fit (and your career!) forward.

This is a 40 hour week on a five day rota across seven days’ Club opening.

On any given day

You will have a wealth of responsibilities, wide and varied making no day the same. In time and with the required training, this will include:

• Being a true ambassador for Natural Fit by embracing our company values every day
• Connecting with customers and members to establish their aims
• Engaging with our members and their exercise needs
• Coaching exercise classes
• Daily housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and professionalism
• Providing a healthy service to our customers and members in the Café
• Preparing and serving simple foods
• Playing a huge part in our ever-growing marketing, sales and events campaigns
• Working and collaborating in an honest, open and inclusive team
• Planning and executing preparation tasks outside of our opening times
• Exceptional customer service and handling of new enquiries  

Desired skills or experience

• You have 1+ years of working within a team.
• You have a keen interest in health and wellbeing.
• You will have a strong involvement (perhaps some qualification) in exercise and fitness.
• You will have a keen interest in food and nutrition (perhaps some qualification or experience in the kitchen)
• You must have confidence in communicating with people, in person and on the telephone.
• You must enjoy providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction, with team cohesion.
